Founders Day gala honors faculty, alumni

The Alumni Association will commemorate the institution’s founding at the annual Founders Day celebration Saturday, Nov. 6. Historian David McCullough will deliver the keynote address.   • Cross country teams finish fourth at meet. The men’s and women’s cross country teams each ran to a fourth-place finish at the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Open Oct. 22. For the men, freshman Tarek Elhage finished in 10th place overall with a time of 27:08.10. For the women, freshman Gabrielle Reuveni came in 12th place overall with a time of 23:59.19.
